A Mama Working Hard for Her Little Girl's Future

This beautiful lady is one of our most favorite mommas! She is a single mom, working hard daily at two jobs. She is the owner and operator of Hair Or Dye Chick — one of the most dynamic hair stylists you will find in Arizona.

At the same time, she holds a full-time position with Live Bearded as their Customer Service Specialist and R&D team member. AND, she is also a full-time student at Grand Canyon University.

Her most important job of all — the one she excels at above everything else — is being Mom to the cutest little girl, Lola. She loves the Lord, is an excellent momma, and works hard every day to continuously improve herself and the circumstances for her little girl's future.

Two Years Sober, Walking by Faith

My name is LeKendra Massey. I am 26 years old, I have one adorable son, Aniken Altaha — our gift from heaven. My significant other is Alej Altaha. We are from the White Mountain Apache Tribe.

We both sought help in 2022. We have had our bad days and good days, but by the grace of God we are still here — doing it sober. We are both 2 years sober. By keeping God in the center we learned to trust in the Lord through the trials and tribulations.

In our journey, we came back to the reservation — back to being homeless. But we prayed. Within time, my good friend Tammi reached out and was able to help through This Little House of Mine. It was a blessing. We give thanks to This Little House of Mine — and most of all, to Jesus. He is a waymaker.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." — Jeremiah 29:11

Fighting to Keep Their Family Together

Felia and Myles came to us at one of the most difficult moments a family can face — crisis, uncertainty, and the very real fear of losing everything they had built together.

Through This Little House of Mine, they received food, household supplies, counseling resources, and most importantly — the consistent reminder that they are loved, they are seen, and they matter. We walked alongside them through their storm.

Today, their family is on the path to restoration. Every donation, every product purchased, every prayer offered contributed to this family still being together. This is the mission in action.

Train up a child in the way he should go — teaching him to seek God's wisdom and will for his abilities and talents — even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6
It all starts in the home

This is NOT About Us.
It is For the Children.

This is for the children who are torn apart from their families and have no place to call home. If we are ever to see a change in our society for the better — it all starts in the home. Will you stand with us?
